Durabrand 10-Disc CD/MP3 Changer WMS7100MP3

I just purchased two Durabrand 10-Disc CD/MP3 Changer WMS7100MP3 and installed it in a 2003 Altima and 2004 Solara. I got the unit from a local walmart store for $99 plus 6% sales tax. I've installed other car stereo decks, speakers, and amps in the past but never a changer. The hardest party was locating the correct wires to connect to the FM Modulator. I would recommend you to get a voltage tester to locate the correct voltage to connect the continous and power cable and make sure you have a good ground. I didn't want to replace the interior console on both cars and thought that this would be such a great way to keep the factory console. I had no problem with the Altima, but when it got to the Solara, boy was it a pain to locate the correct wires. The changer is mounted in the trunk on both cars and there's no skipping over bumps and railroad tracks. The unit has a nice remote and it's wired, however I can hide it from plain view. This was the best project do-it-yourself project that I've done for my cars in a while. Hit me up, if you need some assistance at michael40511@solaraguy.com. To top it off, I saved myself $140 bucks of installation for both cars and the enjoyment of doing it myself. Just in case you are wondering the FM station is set to 88.5 or 88.9 and the sound quality if great, since I have had two prior cd changers that used the FM Modulator. MP3 quality is great and I love it.

If that works with FM Modulator, it has to lose frequency range on the top and bottom of the spectrum. How does it sound compared to the CD player included with the Solara? You have to set the radio to an unused frequency to use this changer?
