The countless hours of planning, measuring, researching, cursing..:-), testing, parting, putting thing together, applying bondo, sanding, painting, messing up thing , installing: 1 million dollars.

Hey, you didn't by chance write down your plans for mounting did you? I was thinking of doing this after a co-worker told me about it. I'm not too worried about getting it to work, I just don't want to mount it and make it look sloppy.

Dude that has to be the coolest thing I've ever seen. Are you telling me you did all that for just under 2 grand? That's unbelieveable! I figured that you would of shelled out at least 5 for it all to be done. But I guess where you did most of the work by yourself or had friends help that cut out some of the costs. Wish I had enough electronic sense to do that. Looks super sweet. I'm super jealous .

Pics worth thousand worlds, so here:

I have a lot more pic from the beginning to end project. I'll put them together in my Sol homepage soon.

Enjoy and please provide some feedback as I'm looking forward to improve it to perfection.

:)

What do you think of the lillput? I have had a xenarc over a year now and love it. A friend got a lil and i find the non auto power major annoying. I have no buttons on mine showing thru since they are not needed for me. Grin.. I need to take some pics of the trunk where everything is at now. I went with straight amps all the way around and just avoided the whole headunit stuff as thats a waste i think when the PC can produce much better sound..

Items i have installed.

PC : Sumicom(best cooling) 2.8ghz, 512meg ddr
Screen: Xenarc 700TSV 7" Touchscreen
GPS/INet: Sierra Wireless MP555 GPS
Audio: Audigy 2NX
Control: Volume/Track changing
CD/DVD: Slot loading DVD +r-r/Ram burner (Burns all formats and plays all formats)

Have one four port firewire hub, two usb 2.0 hubs, 3 usb video capture devices (Front bumper .1lux color cam), Rear spoiler (color cam), Cabin (Color camera)
OBDII datasystem, Phidgets 0/16/16 interface for window control and other misc stuff, Ifree keyboard/track ball (Rf Wireless), Bluetooth 300foot range. Soon i hope to have a ptz camera under the car. But I need to figure out how to protect it first.
