Does the carbon fiber make it sound better? The serial #?

Sorry, but I subscribe to the "form follows function" philosophy...

Ummm... Then this would be the amp for you. PG makes some of the best sounding amps in the world. Yes there are some that are better, but PG makes very nice clean amps. Go read the specs on the amp, realize that PG doesn't BS their numbers and makes a dang good-looking amplifier. Now you go and pull your foot out of your mouth… then come back later  .

Oh yeah and BTW, great amp PGti40L! I have had several PG amps in the past and I have loved all of them :D.
Let's just pretend I didn't grow up, or you're going to be terribly disappointed.

for those of you don't know about this amp. the amp had some serious power and clean clean watts, they built in capacitors bank and a bass cube. it is of two PG Ti400.2 amps in same chassing amp. the numbers according by the last 4 digit of the serial numbers.

You'll notice that I didn't say anything negative about the performance of PG products. To do so would be setting myself up for being flamed. I am quite aware of PG's well-earned reputation and I totally agree. I was simply stating that I don't understand paying for things that have no effect on the product's performance whatsoever. I would rather pay for features that actually did something besides look pretty or serve as immaterial bragging rights. It's just my opinion, so no need to get defensive. Your attitude is unwarranted and unwelcomed...but I guess that's your way of stating your opinion

Sorry to thread-jack. It's a nice-looking amp. Congrats. I'm glad you like it.

The wording used in your first post is very negative in its nature. Had you started with, " That's a great amp, but..." I don't think my rebuke would have been so harsh, or even existed at all. However, it would appear to me at least that all the words included in your first post solely ripped on his choice. Lets try some tact, or someone will most likely flame you. This is generally always my attitude, and I appreciate it.
