TRD Digital Dash

TRD Digital Dash

This is just something I read about from the SEMA Show. It's the TRD digital dash, and is more or less a display for bar graphs and such for all the engine parameters. Anyone familiar with the Skyline R34 GTR will recognize this as being similar to the LCD in that vehicle. It looks like a great device, and plugs right in, but it's only for cars with the TRD supercharger. Just wanted to bring this to light for S/C'ed owners. I saw it in the March SCC.

It might be something that just plug in the OBDII plug (ebay has similar thing, but has to display a plam pilot or laptop). Greddy E-manage can do same thing too.

No, this plugs into the TRD ECU for full readouts. And unlike the others, it runs on an LCD.

I saw info on it in the March 04 Sport Compact Car, in a section about the SEMA show.

oh... so thats how it looks. i thought it was more of a wristwatch type of monitor.
looks cool to have though. i wonder how long it takes to get stopped if you have one of those sitting on the dash.

The article said that it could be hooked up to any LCD screen. So I'm assuming it could maybe even be routed through an in-dash monitor.

I've seen a HUD that you can project onto your windshield that displaysw anything you want, speed, RPM, engine temp, gas, oil temp, voltage, you name it. It would even flash a shift light for you at a set RPM.
