i'd go with the dark rims. I put some 18" racing hart cp8's when i first decided to mod my car and it was nice.. but then i changed to gunmetal with polish lip and what a change. My car looks so much better with dark rims.

actually the darker rim in the picture is hypersilver. the gunmetal is darker. heres a pic Image

That gunmetal is a little too dark for my tastes, but I do like the hypersilver.
