JBL Amps - Opinions?
I think I've decided on a what subs to get. I'm trying to work out a deal with someone on a pair of Infinity Reference 1220W in a box (300w RMS, 1200W peak each).
Ive also decided to get a 4 guage amp wiring kit from knukonceptz.
Last part is the amp, and I was originally looking at USAcoustics, but I hear that new USAcoustics amps arent as high qual anymore since they shifted production. Since I dont know which are the ones that were made before they shifted over, I started looking at JBL and they look like they suit my needs without breaking my budget.
I was specifically looking at the BP600.1 and the BP1200.1 mono amps. I'm still not sure which one would be better for these subs (suggestions?). I was wondering what you guys though of JBL amps. I dont really want to spend more than about 250 on the amp, so I was wondering if there was anything better in this price range for these subs. (I can pick up the BP1200.1 for about 250 on Ebay, I havent checked elsewhere yet).
Also, besides the subs, box, wiring kit, and amp, is there anything else I need before I begin the install?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions. This is my first sub install and I'll take all the advice you guys can offer get to make sure it goes smoothly.
