I shot 2 part Epoxy Primer, ran out of money to get this on the road and it was cheap $150 and we actually painted 2 cars mine and cuz's 89 RS Imprezza.

I'm not a fan of black cars but I get a lot of compliments on it and the Epxoy doesn't retain water so the body is well coated.
For now it stays Flat Black, I may shot a Satin Black over it for a better/durable finish ?
The primer got scratched, my kids drew happy faces on it when it was dirty :)
Still shows even after washing with a brush several times :( lol...

My plan is get the V6 running, maybe SC kit.. after the cars is mechanically fit & tuned both for power & handling, then decide on Paint ( Blue ) most likely !!

I just noticed how many typos I made.. have to read my posts better before I submit them ;)

I better get my butt in gear and get stuff quoted/shipped along with finishing to strip the car.
Want to get going on my MR2 project.

This is where the Solara V6 is going to end up: My 1991 USDM Turbo project.
Bought in May of this year and it looked like this...

Finally have time to get this completely parted out and as of tonight the engine/trans are out just the gas tank & rear suspenion to remove and then cut out the rear quaters, the rest of the unibody goes to srcap !!

The seats are now sold, still have the doors and most of the interior panels, rear tail lights, truck lid & bumper are good !!
Have to look through my PM's and get back to a few people but the rest has got to go !!

From the interior I sold the center section where the shifter was ( also the shifter assy ), the lid for the center console and the seats front/rear.
I'm keeping the gauges to use in my MR2 custom dash panel setup.

The rest of the interior is available, let me know which parts and I'll email you photos.
Thanks.

I see.
How are the glove box, passenger rear lower cowl, passenger A'pillar, rear package tray (including rear seatbelts, and bottom half latches), dash, lower dash portion, carpet ??
The center section that connects to the dash??, how about the piece that sits below the arm rest??

I have all these items and in good condition except for the carpet, it's not that great a condition.
PM me your email address and I'll send photos of each item.

Some one else asked me about shipping the dash ?
That is going to be not only expensive but finding a BOX for it ?????????
Oh Well, I'll try !!
Thanks,
David B.

I am wondering if I might be able to get the front pipe from your part out. If so please let me know how much. I am in toronto and would come tonight to pick up the part if you have it and depending no the price.

Thank you,

Im interested in buying one of the fuse box covers for under the hood. The one behind the front left headlight (closest to the radiator).

Mines been missing now for YEARS. Dunno how... might have come that way from the dealership. I've been to several pick-and-pull junkyards and all the ones I've found have been too small (less fuses in the older or I4 models maybe?)

If you still have yours and would be willing to sell it, let me know!

Thanks

Sorry but for now I'm keeping everything from the electrical system for my MR2 project.
Not sure what I'll need from the harness or fuses so for now... best I keep it all and sell what's left of it after I'm done ?
