Ebay Roof Spoiler
I picked an ebay roof spoiler a few days ago and just wanted to throw up a few pics.
Its from the seller shadow.speed located in Taoyuan City, TW. They advertise for the '07 up Solara because that is the only model they test fitted. As for color, Lunar Mist Metallic was not listed but after a few breif emails they confirmed they could paint that color. Since they paint to order the shipping time was about two weeks but was worth the wait. Packaging was good and the spoiler arrived flawless. Paint match was spot on and even has a nice clear coat. The spoiler is somewhat heavy and is flexible, almost like a solid rubber. Installation was simple, just clean the glass, apply 3m adhesion promoter, remove 3m tape backing and apply. The fit however was a little off. It's about a half inch too short from left to right leaving a 1/4 inch gap at the edges. I just split the difference and it doesn't look too bad for my taste. I understand this part is completely form>function. I just wanted to change the lara up and break up the roof line a little. I was thinking it might end up total rice but being paint matched makes me think differently. She's filthy right now so full car pics will have to wait until Thursday.
Overall I'm pleased with the look and quality. Only time will tell just how long the paint lasts and spoiler holds up.
Well here's a few pics:
