Stock JBL Issues.

Postby mantis167 » Fri Jul 08, 2011 9:32 am

Just bought a 2000 Toyota Solara. Se V6 5spd. My question or issue is this. The JBL system turns on . But i can barely hear anything from the rear speakers and barely anything from the driver side door. However the the passenger door side works perfect. What can be the cause of this. I couldn't find a for sure answer in the search. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in adavance

You sure you have the Fader and Balance at 0? Just making sure cuz thats what controls where the sound comes from.

That was the first thing i did. The rear sounds so faint and i can barely hear the tweeter on the left side. Even after adjusting.

Considering one speaker works, maybe the speakers were replaced and they did a horrible job. Open the door panels and check that out.

trace your speaker wires in the back. Maybe you have something touching or missing under there..
