ok i hadnt seen this thread but since Gabe wants to get verbal even though i told him my conflict, here goes: i told gabe yes i want to buy it, ill have the money friday, May 28th i expressed my interest to buy it and June 6th is when the deal had fallen through. I even told gabe afterwards that i had full intention of buying the kit but i found out i had to do a REPAIR, now im sorry if one person having to REPAIR his car as opposed to upgrading is considered shady. I didnt think gabe would be childish by bringing a private matter out into the public, i have bought HID's off this forum and i have purchased shocks and struts, total spent on both nearing $800, now idk if you consider that an unreliable buyer. I have been fair in any business dealings that im a part of but its quite simple, repair>upgrade. Why spend 300 on upgrading my brakes when i can spend that money repairing my car?? Gabe i understand you've done alot for this community and for solara's you been an original but you blew this waaaay out of proportion by calling me out because you got butt hurt about it. The kits apparently must be great if they all sold so i dont think a week would've destroyed your small busniess and brought it crumbling to its knees, sorry gabe but get over it man life happens

IMO, you couldn't gone out and gotten some Camry 1MZFE headers from a salvage yard.

it was headers indeed, its a leak from that area so im speculating its the header until i can take it to a shop, but im sure anyone can agree a repair is more important than an upgrade

sad part is, aftermarket headers on a stock 1mz will only make it run worse.

bottom line...with the way this forum has been lately, first to pay gets the goods. really, that's the only way a guy can do business anymore on SG. It used to be a "dibs" system and the payment always took care of itself, but now it is a bunch of people saying "i get paid in 13 days, hold it for me til then, then I'll pay right away..." only to get poor excuses or no payment. Gabe I want to feel bad for you, but honestly you should have seen it coming. 90% of the guys that tell me to hold an item, I never hear back from.

I've been burnt a couple times by douchers, now its always first to pay gets the goods. Sucks for the honest people that want to mod and honestly need a couple days for the $, but its the reality of the forum anymore. It never used to be like this, and it really sucks for the old guys. I guess people don't value their "word" like they used to.
