eBay F1 Clutch w/ ACT PP $330, good deal?

I'm thinking of buying this clutch set up from eBay.

It has an F1 Clutch, and a ACT HD (Heavy Duty) Pressure Plate.

The seller lists the specs as:
ACT heavy-duty Pressure Plate - T023 (clamp load increase: 32%)
F1 Racing Street Disc (236mm, 21 splines)
Release Bearing
Alignment Tool
Installation Guide
ACT Decal

Torque Capacity: 390 ft/lbs

Considering I'm gonna be putting down up to 300whp, what do you guys think? Need some experienced advice here before I make my decision.

f1 clutches are fine mine has held up well after a year of it on and hard drving. Their pressure plate sucks though, but an ACT pressure plate should work well. Do not use the throw out bearing they give you. Usually the material sucks. Just buy an OEM toyota throw out bearing.

I've got a Fidanza flywheel I'll be using.

That's good to hear ToyoSol! That makes me feel much more confident in that eBay sale. I'll definitely get an OEM throwout bearing too.

Anyone else have any opinions on the product?

Lightweight flywheel will give you a little tougher engagement on restarts. A bit of extra chatter, so don't be alarmed.

Thanks for the heads up hskr.

I might be buying a SPEC pressure plate and 6-puck F1 clutch from Greg in the near future. He seems pretty confident that will be a great set up for my power and needs. Apparently the SPEC clutch feels like stock, but holds the extra power fine.

Well, I have a spec 2+ and have been mostly happy with it. If I had to do it all over again, I just would have gotten a stage 2. The 2+ holds anything you throw at it, but the restarts and super grip require very attentive driving. If I was in heavy traffic all the time, no way would I have kept the 2+. It just has a small sweet spot/friction point. On the plus side, the grip is unbeatable, on the down side...I've had several friends and my wife try to drive the car and most of them eventually give up.

Maybe the fidanza flywheel plays a role in that too (mainly starting from a stop). You just have to wind up the rpm's a little more and feather the throttle, but you get used to it.

What is Spec 2+? Is that the disk? And if it's the disk, how many pucks does it have?

Well, sounds like it will be really fun learning how to drive manual with my car then haha. crap. Definitely gonna record the hilarity for a youtube video.

I've talk to a spec rep. And I was told that for the camry/solara the pressure plate for all stages are the same the only difference is the clutch disc material. The stage 2 disc is kevlar and the 2+ is one side kevlar and one side ceramic, both 2 &2+ have same disc design.
