thinking of tinting the border of the headlights instead of the whole thing to give it that blacked out look but im kinda unsure how it would turn out. what do u guys think? would it look stupid?

... The corners would work since mig0s did it and doesn't look bad at all. As for the headlights just open them up and make your own black housing... It won't crack easily like the corners.

i tried the DIY before but ended up melting one of my headlights because i set the oven too high. i was thinking of just tinting everything with a light coat but i remember seeing pictures on here of someone who did and the lights looked kinda brownish. it didnt look good to me at all.

lool baking sounds scary I would rather use a heat gun and slowly work around the edges ><

I heard about putting vinyl/tint at the top of the headlight border to give them an eyelid look but putting around the whole headlight housing sounds weird to me.
it's like putting eyeliner for your whole car

you should try this tutorial but with a heat gun or something :D
