Lowering Springs Stock wheels?

Lowering Springs Stock wheels?

OK so I got some aftermarket 17" rims with low profile tires. Obviously as most of you know it looks like an 4x4 now so I want to lower it. Problem is I'm going to be putting the stock rims and tires back on for winter. I was just concerned about rubbing issues if I lower the car with the stock rims and tires. Does anybody know if its ok to do this?
