Here are a few ideas for you of things I did.

1. Changed interior lighting (sorry the first pic is blurry, couldn't use the flash for that one)
2. Painted the wood trim to match the color of my exterior. I got that idea from VW which does that on some of their Jetta and Golf models.

That looks so nice! Did you have it done professionally or DIY?

I had the trim painted when I had the TRD kit painted.

I agree the steering wheel looks awful. Its way worse now than what is shown in those pictures. I hate steering wheel covers, so I just deal with it. I looked into just buying a new steering wheel but its too expensive.

I know the feeling of the terrible.wheel leather all.too.well, lol. I will look into having a local shop reupholster the wheel and patch the minor tears in my driver's seat bolster

I may end up with those expensive steering wheel covers that you pull the strings around it to get a tight fit, but I don't even think I care that much about it anymore.

I use meguiar leather cleaner to clean dirt and crud stuck in the steering wheel hole.
