i just picked up an injen intake for my car locally for $60. im surprised at the difference in feel of the car. i would guess it possible its a bit faster, seems like the power band hits just slightly better and the intake is flowing smoothly at full throttle at high rpm's. but aside from guessing about performance gains, it sounds like a beast as it nears 5000-6000 rpm.

ive never heard of injen making a CAI for our cars, on SRI, the only way i know of getting a CAI is the extension or AEM, that did make a CAI for our cars, but its more for my car cause it doesnt have the square maf on it.

The CAI extensions we are running are custom. We had a group buy wayyyy back from upfd and that's the majority of the used ones that float around. I have never seen a mass produced cai extension for our platform.

OP, you need to SEARCH. These guys are being very gentle with you on a topic that is ages old and beat to death. For tuning with a piggy back, look in forced induction and aftermarket. Almost everyone looking for entry level Tuning is running a safc II. More importantly, install the piggy back that is used most often by your dyno tuner. You need to use a system that the dyno understands well for the best results. Saying that, if they can't figure out a safc II or Neo, they shouldn't own a dyno.
