1999 only: power brake booster leaking

There's definitely something up with 1999 Solara power brake boosters giving out. Doing a search shows many who've had issues, and it's pretty much only the 1999's. I looked up the part numbers and they changed in 2000. I'm wondering if I could use a 2000 in my 1999 and what affects that would have.

Anyways, as far as the leaks, there's another member who showed where his seal was broke. Interestingly, the booster I received in the mail yesterday had a torn seal in pretty much the exact same place: lower left side.

That sucks dude.... I hope that doesn't happen to me. How many miles you got on your car???? So I know when to expect it.

LOL, I bought my car with 150k on it, and it was already leaking. The junkyard one had 80k on it, and it's leakin. I'm guessing they planned it to break at 60k, when their warranty expires. :evilbat:
