WTB: TRD Lip Kit :3

Im looking for a TRD Lip kit for the Gen1 Solara (Silverstream paint preferred)
If no one is willing to sell to me ill just buy a replica from the Kaminari site

Kaminari kit is $500 + $120 shipping. I recently spoke to a Rep at Kaminari and according to him, TRD/Molly design has always been made by them. So in essence, Kaminari is the makers of the TRD kit. Just can't use the TRD /Molly name do to copyright. This is what I was told by Kaminari. Based on the ridiculous amount of money people want for a kit, I'd say go with a new Kaminari. My two pennies

I agree with that too. No sense picking up a used one with scratches and old paint on it. I'm getting one shipped to Canada in a month or two and it's still under 800 which is what most people charge for a used TRD kit.

Absolutely not! Molley Designs was the first company to design the TRD Lip Kit and after the gen 1/1.5 Solara stopped being produced, Molley Designs stopped making the gen 1/1.5 kits. Around 2004, Kaminari bought the rights from Molley Designs to continue producing only the gen 1.5 because it fits on both gen 1/1.5 but we all know that the gen 1.5 does not fit perfectly onto the gen 1 bumper; not to mention, Molley Designs wanted too much for the gen 1 mold. So it is NOT THE SAME MAKERS or else Kaminari would be able to give us the option between buying the gen 1 or gen 1.5 kit. Finally, the TRD lip kit is much better in quality than the generic Kaminari kit. I've had like 4-5 kits, 2 of them being the original TRD kit and the quality difference is obvious when comparing the two side by side.

I hear that. I've only seen one Solara in my entire life where I live that had any type of modifications. It was so sick though I wonder if he's on here I've been trying to find a kit here and haven't found a single one in a full year of everyday kijiji scanning

Oh geez, here goes a long story lol. My 1st TRD kit was on my 99 Solara SE which got totaled. Then I bought my 2nd TRD kit for my 99 Solara SE but ended up trading that in for a 2003 Solara SLE. I tried to buy an original TRD kit for my 03 but it was hard to come. When Kaminari bought the mold, I was one of the first guys to enter the group buy for the Kaminari kit (1st Kaminari kit). That kit broke all over the place & didn't last long so I bought another Kaminari kit (2nd Kaminari kit). I also installed a Kaminari kit on my 02 Solara SE so that should be my (3rd Kaminari kit).
