My brake light turns on when I do high G stuff. Same with the Oil light sometimes.

Let us know how it works out. I noticed that it seems to be more sensitive when it is cold. But, when you top off the fluid to Max, the light goes off.

The light hasn't gone back on since I topped off the reservoir.

Before this, it would frequently flash on when making left turns, just like everyone else has mentioned in here. I took the shoes out, since thats typically the problem, but they still have at least 20k miles left to burn through. It's a 2000 with 135k, just like what many of you are mentioning in here. The *BEST* thing that could probably be done is bleed the line and re-fill it, but a top off is good enough for me.

Though, I did get new rear brakes about 3 years (30k mi) ago. I'm not sure how that effects the algorithm if we're seeing trends here.

Yeah, I'm trying to figure that out too. What points to brake pads when the light only turns on when you make turns?
As for light going on when it's cold, I don't know how much brake fluid expands and contracts due to temp, but could be that. Plus, a bad connection from the sensor.
