I have an 03 solara 4cylinder with a 5 speed tranny. I was wondering if I am able to find a v6 enigne from another solara will my 5 speed fit the v6 or will i have to get a new tranny also? I'm just curious I dont know much about that type of thing so I'm asking the pros you guys.

I'm not a pro, but will offer my opinion.
Nothing is compatible from the i4 to the v6.
It would be better to just find a v6 if that is your preference.
There have been a few to build the i4, if I remember correctly.

That's what I was thinking buit wasn't to sure. There are a few guys with the I4 but I want the super charger lol

sell your car and buy one that already has the v6.
or turbo your 4 banger.

nah not really dude thats too good to be true. Even if it was true the turbo prob wouldnt be anywhere near reliable.
