Remind me to never use Autobytel for a reference point when shopping for a vehicle. They state that the Solara's closest competitor is the Acura RSX, Honda Civic Si, and the New Volkswagan Beetle. (LOL) Their not even close, those cars are in a different catagory. I would say the Honda Accord EX, Chevorlet Monte Carlo, Pontiac Grand Prix are cars that are more in the Solara's catagory. I like the part where it states bench seats are standard, and you can get up to 198 hp engine. (LOL) I don't know where they get their information but they need to do their homework before putting this crap on the web.

That's the biggest crap article on the Solara. No mention of the 6 cylinder engine at all and all messed up facts.

if the "consumer rating" mean the feedbacks from actual buyer, then this report is nothing but purely BS, most ppl who own a solara are happy with their cars, go check carpoint.com, the "consumer rating" are somehting like 9.5/10.

also ppl started acatually buying solara since when?? i dont know but i bought mine one day b4 halloween, it was the first solara that was sold from the dealership, when i went back for paint protection coating i saw one more with a sold sign, and that's few days ago. so how can this brief period of time be significant enought to actualyl represent a car's rating?
