From my understanding you can use the gen4 camry struts on a gen3 but you can't use gen3 on a gen4 camry. The gen3 camry front sway bar end links for the sway bar hook up to the lower control arms. only the front struts are different, the rears are interchangeable.
Someone correct me if that's wrong.

the gen4 camry sway bar end links hook up to the struts and the gen3 hook up to the lower control arms, so if you use gen4 camry struts you should be fine.

I know its well over a week since you posted it, but do you still have those TRD struts? Just to clarify those struts would fit on gen 1 and 1.5?
