Isn't negative camber gonna eat the tires from inside really quick, even with a proper alignment?

I know this is about a week old... but a lil neg camber will be ok as long as u fix ur toe angle... that'll eat up ur tire quicker than neg camber

Hmm. I'll have to do some research on this because it doesn't make sense to me why one would cause more wear and tear than the other. In my mind, they both put the tires at an angle, so they both should cause equal additional wear. Unless maybe it has something to do with steering.

^ Toe causes 80% of the tire wear, camber does little damage nothing too crazy also depending on how much negative camber your running, if its -2 or -2.5 you wont notice it. Now if were talking -4 or -5 then thats crazy and yeah you will notice the wear.

hmm. i have camber kits for my car. they aren't installed though. i don't remember what camber they are. back when i bought them i didn't know anything about camber. it might have been -4... i hope not that high.

I highly doubt it was that extreme, but yes, toe is a big player in premature, uneven wear, whereas camber is only a supporting role.

As far as camber kits go, they will give you +/- 1.75 degrees of adjustment. Any more than that, you'll need to either slot your camber bolt holes, or invest in a suspension with camber plates.
