It was a slight malfunction, but it was fine after that.

What year is your car? Did you check the code? Did you step on the brakes with the battery disconnected or after you reconnected it? I never heard of that method before.

I vacuumed my car around the day the light came on. I'm wondering if any of the wires under the passenger side of the dash can be playing a role. What a pain in the neck.

Still no luck getting this light off. It came on the day of or after I vacuumed my car and moved the passenger seat. The code flash is a 5-4 which seems to indicate passenger side airbag squib. I have fiddled with it and disconnected//reconnected it but that light remains. I dont know if the code is just stuck in the memory. I really wish I could get the light to turn off. I wont tape over it or remove the bulb

well for your 94 camry, i have a link that has many service manuals, including one for the srs [supplemental restraint system (air bags)]. i would recommend downloading all of these manuals because there used to be a website with manuals for the 97-01 camry (gen 1 solara), but this website no longer exists. anyway, here's to your car:
http://www.turboninjas.com/camry/

Danillo17, if you pm me your email address i will email you the srs.pdf for your car. i can no longer find the link for you but i do have it saved.

first of all.. dont mess with airbag cables while your car has the battery cable.. my friend got hurt really bad because when he was removing the driver side airbag inside the car and it went off.. in the manual it will say before you touch ANY airbag related components you must disconnect battery... go to a shop they will gladly check the code out for the most 80bucks... and check it out soon... because they might not go off and you can kill yourself because you were too cheap..

^^ x2
and furthermore, dont touch anything until atleast 90 seconds after the ignition is switched to the lock position and the negative battery terminal is disconnected. The SRS is equipped with a back–up power source.
