Merry Christmas to Myself!!

Merry Christmas to Myself!!

Postby supraguy17 » Fri Dec 24, 2010 1:07 pm

So I decided to get some Christmas presents for myself this year, still broke either way :bad-words: but Im glad with the way the car is coming along so far so soon :D

First thing I did was purchase some new High/Low Cool Blue Bulbs for the headlights and some new hyper white fogs hard to tell the difference in the day time, I'll get some night time shots posted soon..

Then I knew off the bat I needed to get myself an Intake and fortunately enough I was able to score one here from a fellow SG member! Oh how I do love the sound of it guzzlin air.

Next thing was today I went and got some new rims and tires for the summer, at a hell of a price. White 18" Motegi R7's wrapped in Sceptor tires. Picked them up locally all for only $500. 225/40/18 in the front and 235/40/18 in the back. Only 3 more months of looking at them on my table in my room till I can look at them on my Lara!! Damn I wish it was summer here.... Anyways Enjoy!!

nice! self-given christmas presents are the best because they're totally justified. looks like the engine bay could use a lil tlc though

Well to be honest the guy I bought it off of sent me the intake with a MAF already in it but from what I've looked up and read on my own it should only take you 10 mins or less. Any questions just shoot me a pm. You'll be REALLY happy with the after results!!

Looks good man and in regards to the maf its really nothing to it. when u remove the maf from the oem intake disconnect it first then when u remove the bolts make sure you dont loose the rubber gasket that underneath it when it comes loose then just switch it over and voila ur donee

Hopefully between march and late april I should be all set for awhile with the car. The other things I'd like to get done before the summer comes along is tint the windows, 20% fronts and 5% the rest. Probably will end up doing this in march when it starts to be sunny daily. Im looking at an OBX exhaust and from what I've looked at and watched they sound pretty nice, its between that and a Megan oe-rs. Other then those two I would just like to get some coilovers, even if its in the summer no biggie. Of course this is all wishful thinking and high hopes with out the money restraints!! damn college bills...
