Hello from ATL
I'm enjoying (for a couple weeks so far) my 2002 SLE V6 convertible. Black w/tan leather, 131k miles, top has been down 90% of the time so far w/Atlanta's early Fall weather. I'm looking forward to hopefully contributing here, learning from the group's experiences, and certainly driving! =) Will be a short commuter ride for me with the added excuses to run errands for my wife or kids whenever they need.
First maintenance was replacing the climate control unit during week one (after enjoying the A/C on a hot ATL day and failing to check temperature control during the pre-purchase test drive...). Will be doing brakes in the next month or so and am just starting to read the forums about valve adjustment (no record of this in the prior owners' paperwork but something I see in the Haynes manual).
First full tank averaged 21mpg in local around-town driving. Am interested to see what the highway brings -- maybe an Autumn leaf-viewing roadtrip is in order....
Cheers,
Adam
