Coilover / Aggressive Fitment Questions

9.5" in the rear will fit with the right offset and tires..

I have 18x9.5" +20 offsets for the rear.. 225/40 tires
Neg 1.5* Camber will do the trick, but be sure to have your fenders rolled and pulled.

Also coilovers are needed to achieve this as you will need to set the damper setting pretty high to avoid rubbing with really big bumps.

But responding to your OP, D2 Coilovers are pretty much the same as K-Sports. Albert, TRDGreg's brother has D2 coilovers and they seem to be really good from what I can tell.

JIC's are the way to go if you have the money. I have the JIC's and they go pretty LOW.

so far here is the update. i talked to some friends about their opinion, and after looking at the way the wheel sits related to the struts, we came to the conclusion that i can't give it too much of a negative camber (-1.5 maybe 2 at the most, while i was shooting for -4.) so the only option i have now, is stretching tires, and rolling/pulling the fenders, as much as possible without the paint cracking.

as far as the coilovers go, i decided to go with D2's for 2 reasons:
1) they are cheaper, and i'm getting a decent deal on them,
2) by reading the reviews and talking to some of my friends who have them, they are decent setups for the money.

as far as the tires go, im looking to stretch some 245/35/19's on the rear wheels (9.5's) and 224/35R19's on the front tires (8.5's)

also the wheels offsets are 35mm and im using 20mm spacers.

245/35 you are not going to get a stretch on a 9.5". I would recommend 235/35 instead.

If you are running a 20mm spacer on a 35mm offset you will be getting +15 offset in the rear. 5mm more then what I have but it will work. You will not beable to get more the 1.5* of camber. Thats what I am running and I have NO MORE room to go anymore. When tested fitted I had about only 2 to 3mm of space between the strut and the inner wheel

wow, i didnt know the progress on indiglosolara ended with 9.5 in the rear.

napster_atk- i wasnt trying to rain on your parade. i havent seen the 9.5 rears so i couldnt speak of it.

This will be part of my guide to my fitments as well. Shoot, looks like the next wheels im looking for would be a 9.5 as well
