Or i believe you can pull the back of the mirror apart and see whats inside and work from there .. And once again no problem

Hi guys,

finally I solder the auto-dimmer mirror. It was a gntx-187 (gentex). I didn't use a "ignition" wire simply because I already got the 12V and ground from my LED scanner. I hide the cable with a 3/16 black heatshrink. The result is nice and tonight Im gonna try it. I just need to press "off" to close the mirror and save the battery when I'm not in the car.

The pins was the same than your mirror Ruskimafia, thanks for the help again, it was more simple with your help.

which one is the "Ignition ON"?

do i need to cut any cables to get to the conductors within? or do i just close the T-Tap connector on the wire that i'm stealing electricity from?

do use a 18-22AWG or 14-18AWG?

The connector is a common electrical part. Take the mirror into an electronics supply store. It should cost about a buck.
