this one is sold i see, but just to clarify, gen 1 and gen 1.5 tail lights are the same size, shape and bolts up the same way, they can be interchanged. the only difference i've seen is that one of the bulbs has a different notch where it goes into the housing. it can be easily modified to work, but even easier to get tail lights that come with the little wiring harness that goes to all 3 bulbs and then just plug it in.

I just notice your avatar lights change. Show us some photos of the overall results. Right now I'm rocking the tinted tail lights and I got my untouched mint ones wrap up nicely in a box.

It sucks for you guys in CA. I've had tinted tails, and front turn signals, for about two years.
I've never gotten pulled over for them.

thats why mine went to DSM, i got pulled over 3 times in one week for the tail's. Funny thing is that i had them for almost a year and that one week it was like my solara was the target.
