Postby danielsle99 » Thu Jul 01, 2010 8:49 am

Ive been trying to change my bank 1 sensor 1 af sensor for about 2 days but to no success. Ive heated it up sprayed wd 40 and tried to take it out wit an o2 sensor wrench. It just doesnt seem to want to come out at all. I was wondering if there was any other kind of solution to getting it off so i can replace it. thanks to anyone who can help me :D

If you aren't planning on driving it right away, drown it in some pb blaster for a day, and get some more leverage on it

It is a bit of pain, see this thread we've all been updating over on CL. I just did this last week and it was a PITA.

My new photos are near the end of the thread, http://www.clublexus.com/forums/rx-firs ... ensor.html

pain in the ass job that is....Get some liquid wrench and soak it for a while then go at it. Make sure your car is warmed up a little before you try to turn it. Wrap you arms in something like long socks. Sucks to get burnt there...
