So I went and purchased 2 of ^these coil packs to see how well they were made and i'm pretty impressed. I figure 1 at autozone was $64 dollars. I might as well buy 2. My question is these seem to have a higher ohm reading then the old toyota ones. Is this going to have any effect on the car having 2 new ones on until I order a 3rd pack?

The wires definitely break down over time. The coil packs just go. I wanted to update them since they were originals. It wont hurt to replace old electronic parts. They say the rubber breaks down over time on them. I'm a don't fix it unless its broken type of guy, but over the years things get old and worn out. Figure it wouldn't hurt and its also an easy job to replace. 1 screw and 2 connectors EZ...
