I know I will be screamed at for the following comments, but hey this is a forum so....

I have been impressed with synthetic oil and transmission fluid. Synthetics are just mineral oil with various additives to enhance key properties.

The biggest complaint with synthetics, other than the cost, is that they are too slippery and do not have sufficient adhesion for the parts they are lubricating.

There was a time when the only way to switch to synthetic was to ensure there was no conventional product in the system. Once switched one could never turn back. Times have changed. The three cycle change will work for any product.

Alright, so it's been 1500 miles since i fully flushed my ATF. As noted earlier, i have witnessed a dramatic improvement in performance over the first 500 miles. Now 1000 miles after that, i can say that the performance ultimately has improved a great deal, and has leveled off at a substantial gain in smoothness. No afore mentioned slip at all. I went from burnt fluid, to Fully Synthetic, and I have even noticed that the car shifts into it's next gear precisely at the same speed everytime when maintaining steady gas whereas before i noticed it differed about 5mph or so. Also I will even go as far as to say that the dreaded throttle lag that is a common issue w/ this car out of first, has significantly decrease since i did the flush. All in all, I'm extremely happy w/ the outcome of my decision. I would recommend this flush to anyone @ or under 120k. I hope this helps all you curious cats out there lol. Not to say this will be benifitial 100%, but look at the top of this thread, you see how dark my fluid was. It was thin, chocolaty and smelled burnt! lol
Oh and note, my original user name ampreston85 is locked out for some reason so i created a new one a while back =/
