ok i have a 2000 solara and strauss auto says its time for new struts, now i searched the forum and got a lil confused, monroe is good if your car isnt lowered and kyb is too stiff??? which one should i get? im not going to lower my car but i need some durable for these mean new york streets please help me...

i just put tokico hps on mine 189.00 shipped for the fronts off ebay. i had 12x,xxx miles on the stock suspension. i replaced the strut mounts as well with factory toyota mounts. feels like a different car now.

Monroe is fine if you're not lowered. If you're lowered, go with tokicos or kyb. Strut mounts can be pricey. They can be had for about $60 a piece online, but the dealer will be much much more.
