check engine light with A/C

So i was driving home from work doing about 35 and i decided i wanted some air conditioning, so i turned it on, and about 15 seconds later my CEL turned on. Anyone else ever have this happen. Im getting the code checked out tomorrow.

lol, i know it just seemed weird, it was like pushing the "ON" button for my CEL

Well got my scanner today and it was po0440, evap emission system. I've had this code many times before, so i broke down and bought a new gas cap and will see what happens
