Ive heard some type of soap, or maybe goo-gone plus floss (to get it off car) works, and make sure to wax the area after, might have to buff it, there could be a mark where it used to be from fading.

No time frame. Probably not long these days since it's warmer.

Just keep moving the hair dryer over the emblems to soften the glue enough so that you can pass a string of floss behind the emblems.

for me i heated it long enough to where the floss didnt fray
then kept sliding back and forth.... didnt break the floss through the whole emblem. Also, mine left lots of sticky residue. Goo gone, lots of rubbing and a paper towel got rid of that stuff. Then it was just a matter of cleaner wax, and a good sealer wax and its done.

In my case, I repaint my all emblems for black last night.

*hotwater(if it's really hot, it's not good for paint so just boil 2-5 min then put iron fork to check temperature) & costco card or plastic card (removing tool)

1. pour hot water over emblem (it works as dryer and lubricating oil, and it's faster than dryer)

2. when emblem is warm, start remove emblem with plastic card

3. while removing emblem, spray some water again and again (to keep emblem is warm)

in my case, I just took 15 min to remove all emblems last night.(I started it 3 a.m. lol)

good luck!

^^ yes fishing line worked much better for me than anything else. i heated up with hair dryer until emblem feels warm/hot, the use fishing line as floss to remove emblem. also, i found that goo gone doesn't work so well as bug and tar remover and an old sock to get the left over glue off

I wouldn't ever suggest lots of rubbing using a paper towel to use on any car with a good looking paint job. Paper towel's scratch the clear coat, you can see the damage it causes if you're under the sun. Better to use a 100% cotton towel or a microfiber towel.

i used some 50lb fishing line only broke twice removing mine, then i used goo gone to remove all the sticky crap which is most time consuming. Then went over it with wax and my buffer and you could never tell they were there
