Help identifying interior trim pieces

Help identifying interior trim pieces

Postby LaraNoober » Sun Apr 25, 2010 9:55 am

When I purchased my '02 sle, much of the interior trim pieces - including the back seat and some of the dash & even trunk parts - were pulled up and haphazardly tossed about the cabin and trunk. I spent a weeks worth of evenings and the majority of a weekend cleaning it up and putting it back together. The previous owner used this gorgeous vehicle for nefarious purposes. So as I cleaned and reassembled the car, I paid particular attention to look for, and not leave behind, any trace of its past. I don't want a routine traffic stop to result in having to attend another siezed vehicle auction.

Anyway..., I have some left over pieces, lol.

I'm sure there are many of you who've had your 'laras in as many pieces as mine was in. So, I'm hoping someone might recognize one or more of these pieces and clue me in as to where their proper homes might be.

Image
This piece is the same color as all the plastic pieces on the interior and has a 'RH' on the back. It looks similiar to the top back portion of the cowl side trim which is located next to the drivers left foot or passengers right foot. I'm thinking the 'RH' could be for the right side of the drivers foot area or maybe right side of center console. I suppose it could be for the right side of the passenger side too, but there is another one of those cowl side trim pieces there. I can't get my fat head down in there far enough to get a good look.

Image
This tiny piece looks to be a hook of some sort. I am unable to find a matching piece or a stray hole the tangs would snap into.

Image
These last two pieces are black and may go together. They might be from the missing sound system (but that's another post). I thought I'd include it just in case. The top piece is actually two sliding pieces and the other might be a wire clip of some kind.

Pics are kinda crummy, I know. And I'm being a bit obsessive. This is the nicest car I've ever owned - even though its 8 years old. That actually sounds sad, but says more about the quality of my previous rides than anything else.
Any insights, suggestions, or just plain stabs in the dark would all be appreciated.
Thanks

1. piece goes on the seat rails under the seat, when the seat retracts you should be able to see it covers the metal closer toward the glove box.
2.floor mat holder
3. rear view mirror cable holder

#1 and #3 bottom piece - these go together - I was way off. They fit on the back of the left passenger seat rail. Never would've figured that out, Thanks Ruski
