Has anyone posted a Modified Gen 2.5?

Alright you guys caught me , the only mod I got is a smelly car air freshener. I just wanted to fit in. In fact my car is still in the bodyshop and won't be done til Friday. I hope Jalopnik.com doesn't run with that "TRD bolt-on supercharger" crack and make it global like this past April Fool's joke.

Actually I got it at the local dollar store, I believe the scent is called Urinal Cake.

I'd like to see some regular Gen 2.5 sport coupes join. They seem to very rare... I don't blame them. I mean, if you're going Solara sport, you want a Gen 2!!

Side:
18" Rims - Black w/ Polished Lip

Rear:

Removed "Toyota", "Solara" and "SE V6" emblems
Blacked-Out Toyota emblem
LEDs in the License Plate and Backup Lights





Other than that.... Just a Magnaflow muffler, Injen SRI, and Katzkin seats

I don't recall seeing a lowered Gen 2.5 ... let alone one with any mods at all.

I don't keep close tabs on who has what on their Gen 2/2.5 but I do remember one member working on a turbo setup which was never finished because some guy came into the shop and made an offer he couldn't reject (if my memory serves me right). Like him, there must be some guys out there with modified Gen. 2/2.5's, especially being that there are some available aftermarket parts like a TRD clutch, exhaust, lip kit, among other mods that are simply generic (rims, system, etc.).

Show those Gen 2's and represent!

i think we wanted gen 2.5 not gen 2
cuz almost all of us are gen 2 people
its just rare to see a 2.5 on the boards, not as common as the 1.5s

That's because the 2.5 incorporated new design aspects that don't compliment the sleek lines of the Solara. Like the reverse lights in the rear bumper and the boxy front bumper that doesn't match the body as well. I do like the 2.5 grill a bit better. The only thing I would prefer on my gen2 that it didn't come with is the climate control....was that even an option on the SE Sport?

Adding Rear Sway Bar and CP-e MAFci intake purchased here from Biggie-e) this weekend. I already have FSB. Will soon have a TRD air filter F/S that only has about 1500 miles on it. Don't need it with the MAFci intake as it came with a K&N.

I have also installed the factory windscreen, replaced rear quarter panel speakers, and added a subwooffer w/ amp behind the seat.

I just turned 26,000 miles btw. If it stops raining here I will try to get some real pics!

climate control was only for the SLE models
and i agree with the grille (which i have) and dont forget the LED tails if modified and fitted onto a gen 2

ATXguy, I think you meant FSTB since there is no aftermarket FSB for a Gen2 or 2.5

enjoy the CPE and be careful with connecting wires to the ECM because the green wire is real fun. Count the terminals on that one to be double sure. The 2.5 wire colors are a little different then the instructions for the 2.0
