WTB: E153/1MZFE V6, 5-speed manual transmission(s)

Hey guys

I posted pics/vids of my escort a while ago... perhaps some of you might remember? It's not too often that an escort runs 11's

. Anyway, I had an adapter plate made to run the E153 Toyota gearbox in it. Well, after I did that, lots of other escort/mazda people were interested in doing so.

I just sold a batch of 15 more adapter plates. Some of these guys are going AWD (Alltrac/GT4 trans) but many are FWD like me. They will all be on the lookout for gearboxes shortly... so if you have one available, post it up here!

I'm going to link everyone from my group buy to this thread. There were buyers all over the US and Canada (and even overseas), so although I'm in CT there may be someone near you in need of a trans. I bought my trans from a member here and it worked out great, so I figured why not give solaraguy another shot (x15)?

I have 2 FWD E153's left for sale. Both pulled from 2000 V6 5 speed Solaras.

$400 plus shipping.

i didnt have any buyers in Maine, the closest were some local guys in CT and some in NY and NJ. i'll make sure they see this...

you should be able to use 3sgte trannys also they are the same transmission as the camrys

3sgte E153's are not a FWD configured trans

yes i know, this is what the AWD gent's use. these are actually the minds who thought up this crazy swap... using it for FWD is kind of an afterthought lol
