My sunroof blew off!

Postby LEE337 » Fri Apr 03, 2009 3:43 pm

The sunroof was closed when it flew off and it wasnt tilted. I wasnt driving crazy :x just fast :D . The was very little trafic and I wanted to go a bit fast. Ive done 130+ and it didnt fly off then. Its a factory sunroof and it tucks inside the car when opened, the mouting points are different from Gen 1 to 1.5. When the sunroof was on it was flush.

trd4life- Im gona try and trade in the 1.5 set up for a Gen 1 first. If I get stuck then I will be PMing you. Would you do me a favor and take some pics of the sunroof for me??? 8) 8) 8)

Havent been on here in a few weeks or so. Just wanted to post a pic of the sunroof I had installed this morning.
I went to Texas Auto Trim in Houston. They did a beautiful job installing the glass. All they did was take out the old trim
where the glass sits and replaced it with a Webasto trim and glass. They also replaced the shade partition.
My total was $779.40 and it was installed in an hour and a half. :D
Ill be going back in a month or two so they can redo my headliner cuz it looks like sh!t.

All most an entire year with no sunroof.
Im happy now. 8) Gona go wash my car now. :D

Sorry, but driving 110 IS crazy....you're putting not only yourself in danger, but everyone else that's on the road with you. I know I know "it's just a little fun, get over it", but your little fun could wind up costing someone their life.
