so im very confused. and please excuse my ignorance or stupidity what ever but on manual trannys for v6's the have a differencial? is it connected to the tranny itself or something? wow i feel stupid.

Yes, all FWD cars have differentials. They are housed within the transmission, between the axles. They aren't located in a pumpkin/housing like on RWD cars, obviously, because the front wheels are the drive wheels. :)
