Alright so last night i purchased a cheap sunpro boost gauge from auto zone. I know its cheap and very simple looking but oh well. I have really been curious of where my boost peaks at high rpm's. So heres a pic of how it looks:

tomorrow i will post pics of how i installed just in case anyone is interested of how to install it. It didnt take too long but it was hard to find where to run it through.

Looks good, as long as it reads how much boost your pushing, that's all that matters. Hey BTW did you notice more noise/chatter after you installed the gauge? My SC is making more noise and I'm wondering if I got a leak somewhere or something.

^yeah there is noise because of the connection that goes into the s/c hits the strut bar.

So you didn't get the brass fitting to clear well either. I'm wondering how much I can grind it down so it can hopefully clear. Again good work and enjoy, it's pretty cool to see it go from Vac to full boost.

ok guys here are the pics.

this is the 90 degree fitting that connects straight into the s/c:
Image

I ran the vacuum line to the drive boot. I tore a small hole from the inside out and ran it straight in there:
Image

after you do this the line will end up right by your pedals, and from there you choose where you want to route it to:
Image

this is where i put it:
Image

hope this helped some of you who want to do this mod.
any questions let me know.

I think we hope you didn't SCREW that in to your dash! :o

Even assuming it's just double-sided foam/tape... there are nice little "cups" for the "A-pillar" mount approach or perhaps front/center on your steering column or other "less conspicuous" location may have been... er... just a TAD more "tasteful" if you will?

(That's my guess...)

Okay... I'll be even more clear. Looks a BIT tacky in that location mounted that way IMHO.
