well i ended up doing the tint myself. got the 2 rear side windows and the front door windows done. used 20% all around and it looks great no bubbles or scratches. took the panels off and did them right. i will post pics when i get some (its snowing here now) still haven't done the rear window, debating on whether or not i want to tackle the dot matrix or just take it to a professional.

I live in Baltimore too and I've got 20% tints on the four side windows and 35% on the rear on my 2000 Camry.

The legal limit is 35% in Maryland. I'm pretty sure you can't get a ticket for having too dark tints, but they can give you a citation to have it removed and you have to present proof that it was removed by a shop. I also don't think you can get pulled over for having too dark tints.

Check out my cardomain profile to see pics. http://www.cardomain.com/id/sirthomas88

I'd say go with 35%. When I got my 20s I was bothered by how little i could see out of them at night time and maneuvering around parking lot curbs in an unlit parking lot was difficult, but I got used to it.

Also i've never been bothered by cops for my 20% tints, and the one time i've gotten pulled over while I had my tints the officer didn't say anything. Then again, I also roll down all my windows as far as I can when I get pulled over so they don't notice as easily. I have had a few cops pull up next to me and give my car really suspicious and annoyed looks. :D

Don't you have trouble seeing at night time with 15% for the front windshield? I can't imagine driving at night time anywhere that isn't lit by lamps with a tint that dark.

Cops in baltimore are allowed to now pull you over for just tint without any other reason behind it . also you do get a citation and if not removed the next fine is 75 dollars

Oh? Thanks, that's good to hear. So thats just a Baltimore County thing and not a state-wide thing right?

lol its funny to see your car man because my car looks exactly like that even the tint is the same. The only thing is that i have tinted tail lights and my gen2 rims are gun metal grey.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
i love my tint though, im thinking of just going 5% in the front windows as well. I like the 15% in the front but at times its just too light for me.
