Did several project on my solara - Blackbox, SPI, Door light

Hey guys. I did several upgrade for my solara ( not greater than GzNutz's 2010's project. I really like what he did! lol)

and Door light - it just works when I open the door. (+ connected to the Battery(+), - connected to the door ground sensor. if you guys need this information, I can make tutorial for u guys).


Oh, lights are both white. one(white on pic)- warm white led, the other(looks like yellow on pic) - just white led



Oh, and I have one question. I'm thinking about install Oil Catch Can << it's on solara gen1 tutorial ( http://www.solaraguy.com/viewtopic.php?t=42717 )
is it really need our gen2 or gen2.5 solara?

but I don't know exactly where do I put the hose

next project2 : will change green interior light(climate controller, clock, door window switch handle switch) to white LED. just change LED, will not buy whole part - I'm hungry driver lol

i like the door lights can i get more info on what you connected too , like wire wise to trigger it to power on when the door open i would like to do this mod this weekend. Also what lights or leds you used for the doors (brand or store you bought it from ) Thanks man

Those are some nice mods! I really dig the black box and door lights. Those things are really bright.

As for the catch can you've got the right hose.

Nice lights!!! I think I might work on something along the same lines. Also you can definitely not worry about your english, it's better than some of us who speak only english.

Blackbox<< it record my driving anytime. so if we got accident, or terror of car, we can see who did it or who's fault.
in my case, I installed just 1 view but I heard there are four way view(front, back, right & left side). I'm not sure about America, but in Korea we can get 5-10% discount for car insurance fee if i have blackbox.

I'm not sure wut color of wire for (-), so I will take pic for Ruski.

I think, u guys need Tutorial about door light so I will do it after i finished my hw & lab works(i'm studying EE).

- wire = it connect to Red Wire with Green Stripe on it!

+ wire = battery (+) or fuse of doom light? dorm light? whatever. (not ACC!!)

Oh, and ty for position of hose (oil catch can) and our gen 2 or 2.5 really need oil catch can?? I googling and some guys said really helpful but some guys said just need for Disel engine. which one is right????

im a little confused on were that wire is that you tapped into can you take a zoom out picture of were that wire is located

hmm, it's near left leg when you seat driver side.

it's left & bottom side.

I marked as red that's where it is (it's back side on this pics so not focused. that's why I marked as red circle).

Oh! first time, it was taped with black electric tape!! so you couldn't see red /w green wire, so you have to remove black tape first!!

Does the blackbox only record while driving? I've always wanted something that would take video while the car was parked so I can have proof of parking lot hit-and-runs.

I'd assume it could be wired or set for full time recording... probably just depends on the amount of storage space.
