S/C TRD Solara FS-looks odd

First off, let me just say that I am new and if this is posted in the wrong section I apologize. Anyway, I saw this on Autotrader and it looked very enticing but upon further research it doesn't really add up (or maybe it's just me). First off, it doesn't appear to have any of the TRD ground effects or shifter. The wheels are different (not too bad lookin though) and on the side it doesn't say "SE" or "SLE". I called the dealer on it and he said everything runs great, but I've heard that before. Also, maybe it's just dirty in the pictures but the whole exterior seems kinna crappy looking. Again, maybe it's just me, I dunno. I will say the interior does look very nice. Let me know what you guys think of this. I talked to them and they did agree to come down in price a little, but I would lose the warranty. Honestly I know you guys know a heck of a lot about these cars and if you think it's a good buy, I'll go buy it. I have been looking for one of these TRD Solara's with a 5 speed for a long time and they are hard to find! So without further a do:

I was looking at this too!

And thats definately not a "TRD" solara just added on parts and V6 5spd solara's only came in SE edition, I think?

The exterior of the car looks dirty. (maybe needs a wash) And the wheels look like they are from an es300.

Just because it has a s/c and lowered doesn't mean its good. Who knows what the previous owner could have done to it? I would also be weary of buying modified cars from 2nd hand dealers.

my .02 cents

Yeah I think it would look alright with some Gen II rims. And hopefully the paint is just dirty, who knows. Hey did you see that white/silver one for sale. Looks extremely clean but a little expensive.

the rims are from an es300, so obviously the previous owner was a somewhat 2ner. lol. id say pass, who knows what other things have been modified. that shifter seems a little high, but dont take my word for it since i have yet to see or own a manual solara.

OD just means a gear ratio higher than 1:1 so yes you do.
5th gear is your OD, 4th is 1:1.
Trust me, I'm a technician.
