So I took off my SC from the motor in 10F weather. You can call me a an idiot or big balled :D
Anyways, it's not difficult to do but man what a vaccum wire mess! Pulling apart the SC was easy. Thank you for the write ups eye8pussies and akora12. Also wanna thank my friends ryry and bernie for doing most of the work since I'm dying.

This is what I got for my troubles.

yea I heard it, but I was in the hospital for about 3 weeks and didn't drive for a week and a half before I left to the hospital. So I wasn't able to get to it untill now.

Didn't hear it till it was loud due to the music I listen to... yea, that was my bad.

Also, to add, you may need to rebuild the motor. The Cyl walls may be scratched up. I would NOT boost it again without having it inspected.

WOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

You should just forget about the rebuild. Send that thing to my house. It's not worth your trouble.....PLEASE?

Seriously though, I would consider a full-on rebuild of the entire engine. There is bound to be a load of crap in the cylinders. Wow.
Trust me, I'm a technician.

just saw this thread...wow....that sucks. a rebuild is definintely in order. You'll most likely need a new rotor assembly. luckily, they're not THAT expensive. I think I was told 400 only

WOW. Those rear bearings took a beating!

I was in denial about the noises my s/c was making before the rebuild as well. If it helps, I have a local eaton rebuilder that does the job for under $400. Your job might be more since the rotors and housing probably need some attention.

OUCH!!! :o

Just scrolling through the photos was like taking a beating with a 2x4!

G/L with your rebuild. I would HIGHLY recommend cutting your losses on the motor as well... it is surely "roughed up" a bit after that.
