Ultra Racing front brace & OBX/JPP y-pipe fitment?

Anyone have the Ultra Racing front brace installed with the OBX/JPP y-pipe? Anyone know if it will fit? It looks like a very tight fit. Thanks.

I put a Cat on my OBX setup (Gen 3 Camry), and had my exhaust guy position it all in a way that would allow for the fitment of the brace in the future.

Solarizona, AFAIK, Greg put my old Ultra brace on BBQ Bob's car, and I believe he has the OBX headers. Didn't hear any complaints from him regarding fitment, so I assume it works.

Sorry for seeing this late, but I thought I'd chime in. I have the OBX headers and y pipe with the ultra brace and I am having fitment issues. Everything fits but barely. The y pipe is pretty much flush with the bar and will rattle from hitting the brace as the engine torques under acceleration. It's very annoying but I'm dealing with it right now. I tried to bend the ultra brace down but no such luck and even prying the exhaust down due to the flex section doesn't allow enough space to try putting any kind of dynaliner or sound deadening in there. My friend's dad suggested some kind of fibrous material used in wood burning stoves to wrap the brace with that will provide some insulation so there will be no more rattle. Problem is that I can't seem to find the crap. I'm seriously about to break down and buy some header wrap, but seems pricey for such a stupid issue. I may see if anyone I know has a used wrap or extra lying around as I don't need a whole lot.

I'd like to hear more feedback on this first. Just several responses isn't enough to gain reliable data. And my motor mounts and tranny mount are good.

if your rear motor mount is worn at all your engine will sag down , i think this may be your issue as frank has the beefed up GRegTRD rear mount and is not having any problems with the fitment. just a thought.

Well, you guys may be right. I mentioned in another thread about downshifting issues in fourth and it's inconsitent and I think it may be a motor shifting issue. Last night I drove through the snow and it was deep enough that I could hear my exhaust and brace hit and I think it pushed the motor up a bit because this morning I noticed my shifting felt smoother than usual and downshifted into fourth fine for a bit. So does anyone still make this beefed up rear mount or something I'll have to do myself with some polyurethane and cut out my stock rubber insert?
