TB Spacer + SRI/CAI?

TB Spacer + SRI/CAI?

Postby MisterTedster » Sun Jan 03, 2010 8:51 pm

I know that sris and cais have been beaten to death, as well as TB spacers. But just browsing other automotive forums, there are instances where the power improvement of a TB spacer is much more significant when paired with a CAI, and even more so with a sri. Does anyone have any input on this?

I've done SRI to TB+SRI back to SRI and I've felt no difference power wise.

The power DELIVERY seemed smoother, but that's just my opinion.

btw, the only way i see this being benificial is to act like a plenum spacer that some other cars use. This would not allow the TB to have heat transfered to it from the plenum or the supercharger.

Wouldnt it be pretty useless anyway if the SRI is hot and sucking in hot air on top of that?

I have a TB spacer+CAI and the power difference is no better but I did notice a small increase in gas mileage and it makes a sweet sound lol
