Clutch friction point
After changing my clutch, the friction point was very low... as soon as i start releasing the clutch engages. I thought i could change the friction point by playing with the pedal height. My mechanic told me it wont change anything, but i thought i had nothing to loose, so i went under the dash and played with the bolt and nut above the clutch pedal and reduced the height of it.
This made things worst, i couldnt even put the shifter in first gear anymore... so i re-adjusted the height back to its original point.
Now the car drives fine, but the friction point is still very low. but what confuses me is that sometimes, for no apperant reason, the friction point changes to almost mid level of the clutch pedal height and the clutch feels like there is a good spring pushing it upwards all the time.
I don't know if i just confused everyone here, but if anyone can guide me in the right direction to fix this, it would be very appreciated.
Thanks!
