Help with Fuel System - need your advice

So a few weeks ago I posted about my Fuel Pump going bad - I ordered a new one, installed it, it turns on (yaaaay) but the car is idling a bit weak - the other day at a stop light it turned off - I was able to start it immediately, but I have a feeling that the fuel lines (perhaps injectors) need some cleaning.

Also, since I have a CAI, and it has been raining like a beeeyaaach, I have a feeling that water may have been getting into the air filter, but I really have no idea, is there a way to find out? - or do you guys have any suggestions to prevent that (other than not driving the car in the rain).

Oh yeah, a buddy of mine (that likes to offend people with his posts - inside joke) recommends SEA FOAM, but yet had never used it - your thoughts?

Sea foam is the first thing i would recommend. For the CAI pull the filter and see if its wet then track back into the intake tubing and see if its wet

did the motor stumble and then die? or just stopped all of a sudden?

if it just stopped, it's probably fuel or ignition cut of some sort. if it stumled first, then more than likely it can be water in the intake

it didn't stumble, just stopped but started immediately - so i guess that is good news hu. Why can't it just die so i can have my engine rebuilt!!! lol

its probobly the iac controler, if it gets stuck car wont idle..............

so then the seafoam thingie will help that, or is that something completely different? - what is the IAC controler?

Idle air control

It's attched to the bottom of the throttlebody. Seafoam may help, but if it is the iac, you will need to remove your intke so that you can use throttlebody cleaner inside the throttlebody (with the butterfly valve open)
