I'm game

Now.... will you be including the calipers with this kit?... or just the brackets?

Cuz.... we would need to know what calipers are going to work... lol

Oh, and if I'm not mistaken, the caliper tabs (the two ears with the holes for the screws) are available in wilwood as well.... however the caliper offset (if any) might require specific rim offset to clear them.... think about a caliper rubbing the inner spokes of a wheel, or it not properly centered on the rotor.

But I'm excited to see the end result.

Oooooh... yeah, and how heavy are these calipers in comparison to the stock units? I don't mind too much weight, the clamping force alone makes up for it, but if we could kill unsprung weight, then its a win win win situation.

One of my concerns is also unsprung weight. If these are not aluminum calipers, they're probably hella heavy.
Trust me, I'm a technician.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v668/ ... akes_5.jpg

apply these, which should be lighter...
http://www.wilwood.com/CaliperList.aspx ... ug%20Mount

should work out to a pimp brake kit.... ok, that's a mass of the info I had on this topic, figured I'd share since someone took the time to create something similar to my idea. But, you never know til you try....

Yeah do that.... LOL

But perhaps we can prototype with a more efficient caliper, the z32's calipers are great... now the thing is cost.... if they run as much as similar wilwoods, I personally think Wilwoods would be a better pick.

But, let's see these babies workin'!!!
I had a few ?????'s.... I follow the old saying "measure twice, cut once"

What pad compound are you going to use?<- From my experience, you want a metallic compound, it stands up to more abuse, but creates more brake dust. Plus they kinda true in a rotor, and manage to keep warping to a minimum if broken in correctly.

Are you using them with stock rotors?, or Supra TT Rotors?<- Supra TT rotors are what I'm using currently.... plus it would yield more attraction to this venue. my 2 pennies

Can we use the stock brake lines to connect to these? <- I think we can
And finally.... price?.... need to know how deep we gotta dig into our pockets ;)

YEP. I spotted that kit a while back. Best bang for the buck.
I wound up doing TRD's BB Front Kit and bought the TT rotors on the cheap. Also did the rears with Lexus Caliper bracket and rotors. Used stock pads/calipers all around. You can do this F&R upgrade real cheap..think it was around $400..that's FRONT and REAR. I won't screw around with any further mods . Why?? Car FUGGIN STOPS PRIMO with my F/R set up now. I'm DONE! :D

Hey Ron, which BB kit did you use on the front?
If you can part number, and, or pictures would help a lot.

And I agree the ebay kit is a good bang for the buck, but I read on another forum that they didn't use quality components... cheap brackets that cracked, etc
