Wow that's creepy lol. My right headlight is lower than my left one(MUCH lower), and it's on my 99.

Anywhos haha, I couldn't figure out how to adjust it either. The Gen 1 headlights look nothing like that on the back, they only have one bulb.

I looked in my Haynes shop manual, and i couldn't find the screw it pointed out for vertical adjustment, just maybe the horizontal.(didnt try it since I need it to go up.)

Any pics of a gen 1 vertical adjustment screw or knob? I would really appreciate it, as my headlight is nearly as low as the foglight!

Sorry to hijack the OP's thread...

My 2002 looks good, but when headlights are on the drivers side obviously shines the light more downward. i guess i just havent cared enough to do anything about it yet LOL. I dont know if its a common problem... my car was in a accident at one time (i've only owned it about 3 months now) and it was never put back together very well. ive done a lot of grinding and used a lot of washers around the bumper guard, grill and headlights to get it to look perfect. but ill have to get off my a$$ and adjust my headlights to shine straight.

my 99 headlights are ok... its easy to adjust the beam, just park close to a wall and adjust them to the same level. you can figure out how by yourself if you just look behind the headlight... there's even a groove made just for the screw driver to go in
